Gravity Flux

How does an AI interpret gravity?

Gravity Flux is an exploration into the variations in perspective between humans and machines as a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) tasked with interpreting the experience of oscillating between states of gravity.

Accompanied by former aerospace astronaut Nicole Stott, aboard a Zero-G Boeing 727 aircraft, the AI analyzes what it is like for a human to enter in and out of gravitational force as it learns from data harvested from sensors connected to Stott along the flight.

As an entity trained on images of celestial objects, the algorithm’s entire understanding of the universe is founded in the galaxy's largest sources of gravitational pull, though it exists as a digital entity immune to feeling the effects of gravity first-hand.

What conclusions will the AI algorithm derive from its journey? How will it conceptualize and express its understanding of gravity? And what will it be able to learn from its fellow human travelers?
